Below is a brief overview of the services covered by Millikin Facility Services:

• Facility maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, sign shop and painting.
• Plant operation of central heating plant (two 800 hp and one 250 hp steam boilers) and  associated steam distribution system.
• Plant operation of central chilled water plant (two 550 ton electric chillers and one 450 ton absorber) and associated chilled water distribution system.
• Energy management including procurement and consumption reduction activities.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment.
• Oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance for all campus elevators, access control, fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
• Grounds maintenance and landscaping for central campus, athletic fields and outlying campus properties.
• Snow and ice management.
• Athletic field striping for all football, soccer, baseball and softball needs.
• Special event setups, furniture moving and deliveries.
• Construction management and planning.
• Custodial operations spanning 3 shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 day a week.
• Millikin fleet vehicle maintenance and repair for over 50 service and administrative vehicles.
• Human resource and training for facility service team
