Service Levels



At OSU, ARAMARK provides unique custodial services for three departments:

 

Facilities, UHDS and Student Health.


Academic Buildings - Service Levels by Building

 

Service Level 5: Common areas five times per week (common areas, lobbies, corridors)

  • Pull trash

  • Change lights

  • Dust mop or spot vacuum daily

  • Spot mop daily

  • Wet mop and complete vacuum weekly

  • Wipe drinking fountains daily

  • Clean entry glass daily

  • Vacuum matting daily (laundered monthly)

Service Level 3: Classrooms three times per week (GP, classrooms, lounges, kitchens)

  • Pull trash

  • Wet mop and complete vacuum daily

  • Change lights

  • Re-stock supplies

  • Dry clean boards

  • Empty pencil sharpeners

  • Wipe tables and touch points weekly

  • Secure windows (if open)

 Service Level 2: Labs two times per week (Labs, research, class labs, computer labs)

  • Pull trash

  • Wet mop and complete vacuum daily

  • Change lights

  • Re-stock supplies

  • ARAMARK is not responsible for cleaning sinks or fume hoods

 Service Level 1: Offices once per week (Offices and some conference rooms)

  • Pull trash

  • Wet mop and complete vacuum daily

  • Change lights

  • Wipe desks if clear

  • ARAMARK is not allowed to move personal items

 Service Level 5s: Sanitized spaces five times per week (Restrooms, locker rooms)

  • Empty trash

  • Change lights

  • Wet mop and complete vacuum daily (or Kaivac)

  • Wipe partitions, walls, touch points daily

  • Clean and disinfect fixtures and mirrors

  • Re-stock paper and soap supplies

  • High dust

 Service Level 0: No Services

  • Mechanical rooms, store rooms, special rooms
