Energy Conservation

ARAMARK is an Energy Star™ Corporate Partner. We have designed and implemented over 100 energy management programs for clients and returned savings of over $400 million. Additionally, our programs preserve fossil fuels, reduce greenhouse gases (CO2, SO2, NOx), and promote the use of alternative energy sources.

Our energy conservation commitment to OSU includes the following:

• Secure doors, windows and lighting when spaces are unoccupied

• Reduce lighting requirements by team cleaning vs. zone cleaning

• Replace lighting as needed

• Investigate alternative energy sources

• Support efforts to help determine OSU’s carbon footprint.

• Quantify the environmental benefits resulting from Oregon State University’s energy reduction efforts
